False Friends - Rebuild (Acoustic)

about

About - Pulling influences from the worlds of indie, pop, and folk, the band write thoughtful lyrics to catchy hooks and the genre follows suit. The blended vocals of Jonathan Kirwan and Anna Doody create a unique harmonic twist in the five piece’s sound. Fearghal McMahon’s jangly guitar sits on top of Callum Little and Corrie McCusker’s driving rhythm section to complete a sound that is capable of creating anthemic soaring moments as well as quiet introspective junctures.

About the Track - We were so thankful to be asked to be part of such an amazing project. We loved the challenge of trying to take one of our tracks and make it acoustic and when it came to deciding which one we were gonna choose, Rebuild made the most sense to us. This song tends to be a fan favourite and a lot of times has been seen as a motivational song for people in bad times. So we hope at this time, this new version can motivate and bring a bit of joy into some peoples’ lives at such a difficult time.
